About Jeff

I've lived here, worked here, and volunteered here

I've called Langley City home my whole life. I'm a long-time municipal worker, a labour movement leader, and I have volunteered on Langley City's Community Safety Awareness Committee for many years. I previously ran for council in the 2022 civic election and narrowly missed being elected.

"I've watched our city grow into a thriving community over the years. I want to ensure that Langley City becomes a hub for interactive, innovative, and sustainable activities for everyone who lives and visits."

Priorities

Focused on the everyday work of a safer, more livable city

Local context

Understanding Langley City

A clear look at the neighbourhoods, boundaries, and local priorities that make Langley City distinct.

Langley City is its own municipality located within the broader Langley area. While it is surrounded by the Township of Langley, the City has its own council, local priorities, neighbourhoods, services, planning decisions, and community needs. Understanding that difference matters when talking about growth, safety, infrastructure, parks, and the future of our neighbourhoods.

Parks and livability

Rooted in the community

From neighbourhood parks and community spaces to the local streets residents use every day, I'm focused on the places that make Langley City feel connected, safe, and livable.

My campaign is grounded in confirmed themes around green space, safety, livability, sustainability, infrastructure, and community connection.
